trigon-film Association

For 20 years trigon-film has brought outstanding movies from Africa, Asia and Latin America to the cinemas. Cinemas, festivals, schools and cultural organizations in Switzerland and in all of Europe make use of the collection of over 250 titles including wonderful masterpieces like Bodhi-Darma by Bae Yong-kyun (South Korea), Le Collier Perdu de la Columbe by Nacer Khemir (Tunisia), El Viaje by Fernando Solanas (Argentina), Yi Yi by Edward Yang (Taiwan), TGV by Moussa Touré (Senegal) or Xuese Qing chen where the Chinese Li Shaohong had adapted the Latin American novel Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel García Márquez to the circumstances in her country. Popular trigon-film movies like La Vida es Silbar by Fernando Pérez (Cuba) witness that people dream everywhere on this planet and that globally shared dreaming can be twice as pleasant.

With our range of movies we try to broaden the cinema horizons. The non-profit foundation invests the earnings and the vital contributions directly in a program with outstanding movies, in the acquisition, in a diligent distribution and accompanying material for schools and events. The most important support for our commitment is the association. By supporting us you can help us maintaining the diversity on the cinema screens and influence the cinema programs. The more contributors support trigon-film, the greater is the impact of our dedication.

If you want to stay up-to-date and support the cinema of Africa, Asia and Latin America, send an email with your address where we can send the documents to and the subject "Subscription Association" to the following email-address: verein AT trigon-film.org
