Organise a movie night

Would you like to screen a movie with a broader audience than just your family? No problem, if you first read the indications regarding public film screenings and carry out the necessary steps to clarify the rights. A film is an oeuvre with a value and the filmmakers depend on the compensation for their work. If you would like to screen a film, whether with or without entrance fee, you need to pay the creators for their oeuvre and you can do this easily through the rights representative of the particular film. By doing this, you directly support the filmmaking elsewhere.

Requests for a contribution to events with films from South and East

Only projects which take place in Switzerland are eligible for support. The requester needs to have experience in cultural mediation and to have a proven record of involvment with films and cultures from South and East. This commitment is supported on behalf of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), events with a reference to the SDS's focal areas ( and are preferred.
