Zaffan, 12 ans, vit dans une petite communauté rurale en Malaisie. En pleine puberté, elle réalise que son corps se transforme à une vitesse inquiétante. Ses amies se détournent d’elle lorsqu'une crise d'hystérie collective frappe l’école. La peur se répand et un médecin intervient pour chasser le démon qui hante les filles. Azman is a Malaysian rock singer over his peak. He comes back to his village, to begin a new life as a fisherman. His wife Minah is totally supportive. But his friend Ali thinks he is ridiculous. Especially since the fishing business is becoming difficult. In fact, the time is difficult for everyone.
