Naji Abu Nowar
THEEB is Naji Abu Nowar’s first feature film. Before this his short film ‘Death of a Boxer’ (2009) played at many international film festivals including the Palm Springs International Shortfest, the Dubai International Film Festival, the Miami Short Film Festival, Franco-Arab Film Festival, Algeria Ministry of Culture Film Exhibition, Barcelona Sports Film Festival, Digital Marrakech Film Festival. It was also a commercial success garnering sales to many Internet and Television Channels around the world.
Born in 1981 in Oxford, Naji has spent most of his life moving between the England and Jordan before moving back to Amman full time in 2004 following an acceptance to the RAWI writers lab held in association with the Sundance Institute with ‘Shakoush’ (Hammer). Naji Abu Nowar lives and works in Jordan.
